Product inventory cannot be guaranteed until your Rental Agreement has been signed and a 40% down payment has been received.
Setup/dismantle is not included in the price of the rental products. It can be arranged at an additional cost and must be arranged prior to delivery.
Additional charges may apply in the event items are to be delivered to/picked up from non-ground level areas.
Additional charges may apply in the event load in/load out access is difficult, excessive in distance, or time consuming locations.
Client is responsible to ensure they (or a representative) are on site to accept and sign for delivery of their order. Clients should be able to count all items upon delivery otherwise the counts will be considered adequate.
For residential deliveries, all items are to be delivered to/pickup from garage or backyard/covered area, provided there is easy access. We are not permitted to deliver/remove items from within the home.
All items to be returned to the same location where they were delivered to. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
Client agrees to ensure that all items remain in a safe and protected area (included away from weather) from the time they are delivered until the time Northumberland Event Rental staff arrives to pick up.
Client is responsible for any damaged or missing items while in their possession, and will be charged full replacement cost. In the event items are damaged or missing upon arrival, it is the clients responsibility to notify Northumberland Event Rentals immediately.
It is the clients responsibility to scrape plates, empty cups/glasses and return all items in the containers in which they arrived in.
Receipt of Good Certification: Client agrees that they have received the quantity of goods listed in the Rental Agreement, and also agrees to have the equipment ready for pickup on the assigned date. Failure to do so will incur an additional pickup charge.
Linens returned with burns, holes, tears or permanent stains will be billed at replacement cost.
Additional charges will apply if:
– The site is not ready or accessible when crew arrives
– Rental equipment is not ready for prearranged pickup
– Delivery or pickup is from any location other than ground level
– All items are not stacked and bagged as delivered
– Any items are lost or damaged
Client will supply and discard all garbage bags.
Indemnification & Defense: Client agrees that if legal proceedings are brought against Northumberland Event Rentals for compensation for personal injuries or property damage arising out of the event, client will indemnify Northumberland Event Rentals and its employees against any judgements which maybe rendered against them except for judgements on claims which arise out of the negligence, gross negligence or willful acts or omission of Northumberland Event Rentals, its agents, servants or employees.
Be sure all equipment is returned according to the Terms & Conditions. The client is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred as a result of failure to meet these conditions. All collection fees, attorney fees, court costs or any expense involving the collection of rental charges will be the clients responsibility.
